Subsidy contributions for battery storage

Depending on the location, municipalities support battery storage systems with subsidies.

What is a funding contribution?

A funding contribution is a one-off grant that you do not have to pay back. Cities and municipalities use it to promote the expansion of renewable energies and the reduction of load on the power grid.

Unlike with a loan or a tax relief, you receive the money paid out directly after your system has been approved and put into operation. Whether and how much you receive depends solely on the location of your building – not on your place of residence or your income.
